BioMy name is Esther, I am 23 years old, and I am morbidly obese. In June of 2003 I decided to have Roux-en-Y, open, gastric bypass surgery. This journal is an account of the events, emotions, and experieces throughout my journey. It is open for public view so that it may help to inform, enlighten, and even provide questions and support to me and to anyone else considering, post-op, or even just curious. Please read the first post for more of an introductions and a few disclaimers.
